About Me

Music has always been a huge part of my life. My father played drums for many bands on the Long Island scene and my mother was an avid music fan, so naturally, I started playing classical piano at age 4. I eventually went on to play the Alto Saxophone in Middle School and started playing gigs with my father by age 12. During that time I got the opportunity to study with Alto Saxophonist David Glasser, who's worked extensively with Clark Terry and teaches at The New School in NYC. With his guidance I continued to play restaurants, private parties, and other events all over my home of Long Island New York on Saxophone, and also the Bass guitar, which I picked up in about 8th grade. I grew up playing Latin Jazz, Classic Rock, and Blues, but at home and with my teacher I studied Straight Ahead Jazz and Bebop Sax. That brought me to the Jazz Standard Youth Orchestra in NYC. There I spent time as leader of the group by the time I was in Junior year of High School. Up to that point I had mainly spent my time playing gigs with various bands on the Long Island circuit and was starting to yearn for something more. This is when I started to learn about music production and engineering. I started to make beats and songs on the computer by myself. Eventually, an opportunity arose when I found out about the Berklee 5 Week Program. I went in 2018 and 2019 and it changed my life forever. I auditioned for this school on Alto Sax during Berklee 5 Week in 2019 and was awarded a Full Tuition Scholarship to Berklee College of Music. I decided to study as an Independent Recording and Production Major and now I currently work with Night Shift Entertainment in their District 21 Wedding Band on contract.
